Katie Kosovac
Team Lead, Certified Personal Trainer

Katie is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council of Exercise (ACE). She was a two-sport collegiate athlete playing both soccer and basketball for Penn State Harrisburg where she earned a B.S. in Kinesiology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with my family and friends.

Cassiah Ray
Team Lead, Certified Personal Trainer

Cassiah is a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and a Certified Sportsmetrics Instructor, Levels 1 and 2. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Lebanon Valley College. Cassiah was a collegiate athlete playing basketball for LVC and through her own experiences has developed a passion for injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Brock Kauffman
Certified Personal Trainer

Brock graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2022 where he played baseball. While his time at ESU, Brock broke 6 school records and earned his degree in exercise science focusing in physiology. Brock has worked with clients ages 9 all the way up to 85 years of age. He also enjoys meeting new people of all ages and helping them reach their fitness goals!

Alec Singer
Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist

Alec obtained his bachelors degree in exercise science at Lebanon valley college in 2023. While pursuing his bachelor’s degree he got to work with world class athletes (50 NFL combine athletes) at EXOS in Pensacola, Florida. He went on to pursue and obtain his masters degree in human performance and fitness at Lehman College in the Bronx NYC in 2024. He played 5 years of NCAA Division 3 college basketball (four years at Lebanon Valley college and one graduate year at Lehman). He now plays semi-professionally for the an ABA team in Middletown, the Central PA Kings. He has just finished up working at the Penn State University Fitness Center as a Part-Time Exercise Physiologist for just short of a year.

Alijah Burno
Strength and Conditioning Coach

My name is Alijah Burno, Strength and Conditioning Coach at MTC, with a Master’s degree in Sports Performance and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. As a former collegiate football athlete at Western Illinois University, I’ve developed a deep passion for helping others improve their health and performance. Over the past five years, I’ve worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with the general population, as well as high school and collegiate athletes. My experience also includes time in a physical therapy setting, where I gained valuable skills in Functional Movement Screenings to better assess and address movement quality in both athletes and everyday individuals. My experience includes working with athletes from field, court, water, and track and field sports. I’m excited to be a part of the MTC team and look forward to helping others reach their highest potential.

Ty Rather
TPI Certified

Ty Rather, originally from Missoula, Montana, studied Health and Human Performance with a focus on Exercise Science at the University of Montana. He holds multiple certifications from the Titleist Performance Institute, specializing in golf-specific and junior golf fitness. Ty has extensive experience working at high-end golf clubs, including seven winters at Mirabel Golf Club in Arizona and three summers at Rock Creek Cattle Company in Montana, where he served as a golf staff member, personal trainer, and mobility class instructor.
His passion for golf-specific training deepened after shadowing top trainers at Premier Fitness Systems in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he worked with PGA and aspiring LPGA athletes, as well as professionals in MLB and MMA. Ty also spent time at PT3 in Scottsdale as a golf-specific personal trainer, collaborating with physical therapists and becoming certified in Targeted Vibration Therapy (TVT). Now new to the Hershey, PA area, Ty is excited to bring his expertise to the Maximize community and looks forward to getting involved both inside and outside the fitness world.

Stefanie Cassel
Certified Personal Trainer

Lori Myers
Certified Strength And Con. Spec., And Certified Post Rehabilitation Exercise Spec., Nutritionist

Lori holds her certifications through AFPA and has been personal training since 2013. She enjoys being an encouragement and blessing to others. She is enthusiastic about helping clients achieve their goals and motivating them to live healthier and whole lives.

Brittany Hathaway
Dpt, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist

Brittany is a Physical Therapist at Penn State Health and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. As a physical therapist, she specializes in Pelvic Health and General Orthopedic diagnoses and loves to bring this knowledge when personal training clients. Brittany graduated from Lebanon Valley College with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in addition to a Bachelors in Exercise Science. She has played both lacrosse and soccer at the division III collegiate level and was a captain on the LVC women’s lacrosse team for two out of her four years on the team. She enjoys motivating clients with positivity and encouragement while pushing them to achieve their goals.

Beth Bates
Administrative Assistant

Beth is the behind-the-scenes muscle at Maximize. She graduated in 2004 from Lincoln Technical Institute with an associate degree in specialized technology. Beth’s love for being organized and keen eye for details are what makes her exceptional in her role. She loves helping others and is always eager to learn to new things. Beth and her husband enjoy four beautiful acres of land with their two kids, two dogs, and 11 chickens.

Aubree Fisher
Accounting Clerk

I am MTC’s Accounting Clerk I have years of experience in financial management and office management. My passion grew from recognizing the detail, precision, and skill required to keep financial records accurate—much like putting together a puzzle every day. I take pride in staying organized and supporting smooth office operations. Outside of work, I am a wife and mother to a daughter and a proud pet parent. I am also an avid motorcycle rider who enjoys both on- and off-road adventures.

Heather Manos
Ops Admin Assistant

Heather is a born-and-raised Texan who made the move to the East Coast in 2023. She earned her degree in Exercise Science from Texas Wesleyan University in 2019 and brings a highly organized, solutions-driven mindset to everything she does. Heather loves connecting with people from all walks of life and believes that strong relationships are the foundation of successful teamwork. Outside of work, you’ll find her getting shots up on the court (with her boyfriend on rebound duty), getting lost in a good book, or fueling up with her latest coffee fix.

Mary Schaefer Driscoll
Founder & President

Mary brings over two decades of experience in the Strength and Conditioning industry. She is the Founder and President of Maximize Health and Fitness and the Maximize Training Center. A graduate of Penn State University, Mary earned her degree in Kinesiology while competing as a Division I field hockey athlete. She went on to achieve distinction as a top-ranked NCAA and international field hockey umpire, officiating at the highest levels of the sport.

While Mary has transitioned from training clients and umpiring, she remains deeply involved in mentoring her team and fostering the growth of the MTC and MHF community. She is married to her college sweetheart, Will, and together they have three children.
